How do I create a profile?

To create a profile, simply click on "Create A Free Profile". Choose your account email address and password and you are good to go. Users can also sign up through Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+

How do I attach my profile to my company?

To attach your profile to your company, view your profile and then click on the edit link. Under company on the edit profile page, you can select your company from the dropdown menu.

I am a VIP Corporate Member, but did not see my company in the dropdown. Can I add it to the list?

If you are a VIP Corporate Member and do not see your company on the dropdown list, please contact The L.A. Office and we will add it for you.

Can I create profiles for other members on my team?

Log out of your profile and simply click on "Create A Free Profile". Choose your account email address and password and you are good to go.

My company is a VIP Corporate Member, how do I get VIP access?

If your company is a VIP Corporate Member, you can request VIP status from your company admin.

How can I add my properties, promotions or company hero images to the homepage slider?

We proudly promote all of our Corporate Members on MarketingPartnerships.com homepage. If you would like to be featured, please contact The L.A. Office Membership team and we will do our best to showcase your priorities in a timely manner.

How can I add my activity to the recent activities section of the homepage?

If you are a VIP or Corporate Member, your activity on MarketingPartnerships.com automatically pulls through to the recent activities section on the homepage.

What is RoadShow On-Demand?

RoadShow On-Demand Property Reviews are presentations delivered by Corporate Members to introduce their company, their properties and their partnership marketing opportunities. The two most recent RoadShow videos are typically available to all members at no cost, however, VIP Members may access our entire library of On-Demand videos 24/7.

How can I host a RoadShow Property Review?

Our Corporate Members are entitled to host at least two RoadShow On-Demand property reviews during their annual membership cycle.

How do I add my properties, partnerships, company to the "Member Spotlight"

If you are a VIP Corporate Member, please contact The L.A. Office Membership team and we will do our best to showcase your priorities in a timely manner.

As a Basic Member, why can't I click on the items in the recent activities?

Basic Members only have access to the properties, partnerships, companies, and people featured in the member spotlight section of the homepage. VIP Members have access to all of the data throughout the site. For information on VIP Membership, please click on the UPGRADE button on the top navigation bar.

How do I become an annual partner?

To join companies like Campari, Delta Vacations, Kellogg's and PlayMonster, please contact The L.A. Office at Info@MarketingPartnerships.com or call at (310) 275-2088.

How can I access my account settings?

Account settings can be accessed by clicking on the down-arrow on the upper right portion of the top navigation bar. Once you access your ACCOUNT SETTINGS, your CONTROL PANEL will be opened.

How do I retrieve my password form The Lounge?

Users with profiles at The Lounge should have received an email with a prompt to update their profile. After three months, Lounge profiles will be deleted and users will have to create a new profile from scratch.

Once I have created a MarketingPartnerships.com profile, how do I log on to the site?

On the homepage, type in your Username (this is typically an email address) and password in the field provided and click on the blue login button.

Forgot your MarketingPartnerships.com password?

Simply click on Forgot Password? Type in your email address and follow the instructions listed. Please note that passwords are case sensitive.

I did not find what I was looking for in the top navigation search results, can The L.A. Office help?

Our VIP Members can email us at any time at info@marketingpartnerships.com for additional help.

Where is the control panel?

The control panel can be accessed once you click on SETTINGS. This happens when you click on the down-arrow on upper right portion of the top navigation bar. It appears on the left side of the screen when you enter the edit profile view.

What is the control panel?

The control panel includes all of the tools you need to update your content on MarketingPartnerships.com. It appears on the left side of the screen when you enter the edit profile view.

PROPERTIES

How can I refine the property results to be more appropriate for my brand?

Select the filters that fit your brand's goals by checking the box on the left side of the properties page. You can also search for specific terms using the search field at the top of the properties page.

Can I view more property details in the results page?

To view more details in the results page, change your "VIEW" on the right side of the property aggregate page to "List View"

I have found a selection of properties that interest me, can I print the results?

Users can print property details by visiting the individual property page and clicking the print icon.

I did not find the property I am looking for, can The L.A. Office help?

Of course! VIP Members may email our team at VIPResources@marketingpartnerships.com for questions and concerns.

I have found a property I am interested in, how can I contact the property owner?

VIP and Corporate Members can find the person attached to the property by clicking on the "People" tab. Once on the individual user page, click "Contact" underneath the user photo. Basic members must connect with the person they are trying to contact before following the steps listed above.

I have messaged the property owner, but have not received a response, can The L.A. Office help?

Our VIP Members can email us at any time at VIPResources@MarketingPartnerships.com for additional help.

Can The L.A. Office assist me in my property search?

Of course! VIP Members may email our team at VIPResources@MarketingPartnerships.com for questions and concerns.

What property information is included?

Users can view more in-depth property details by visiting the individual property page. Property information can include details such as target market, property description, media elements, talent, release dates and more.

What is the criteria for "similar" properties?

Similar properties are based on type genre. Only the properties/opportunities of our Corporate Members appear under the "Similar" tab.

What type of images and videos should I add to my properties?

Be sure to add any images and vdeos that enhance the user's understanding of your properties like promotional videos, sizzle reels, TV Spots, property/talent images, etc.

How do I add images?

In the property edit window, select "Browse" under the "Images" header and select the image you wish to be upload.

What are the optimal image specifications?

Any image under 200MB will work, but we recommend a 600x600 "Saved For Web" pixel image for optimal presentation.

How many images can I add for each property?

Users can add up to 6 images.

What are the optimal video specifications?

Uploaded video works best as a .mp4 file and can be no larger than 15MB.

How many videos can I add for each property?

One video can be added to each property.

What does it mean to archive a property?

Archiving a property makes it inactive and removes it from the current opportunities on your company page.

My property is no longer available for partnership, can I delete it?

No, please archive the property so that you don't lose any partnerships or data associated with the property.

I have new images/video to add to my property, can I remove old content?

Absolutely. When you are in edit window for a specific property, all you need to do is click on REMOVE and then add new materials in that location and click save.

What is the difference between active properties and properties?

Active properties and properties are the same.

What is the difference between active properties and archived properties?

Active properties are currently available for partnership, while archived properties are not.

Who is able to add properties to the MarketingPartnerships.com database?

VIP Corporate Members may add and edit properties assigned to their respective company.

How do I add a new property?

Under the "User Profile Drop-down", select "My Properties". From there, choose the option to "Create New Property".

How many properties can I add?

VIP Corporate Admins can add and assign as many properties as desired.

Can I add properties to my individual profile?

No, Properties can only be added to a Company Page. Once properties are added to the Company Page, VIP Corporate Members (connected to that company) may be tagged to that property. VIP Corporate Admins can assign properties to anyone within their company's VIP Corporate Membership tier.

What are the optimal specs for the hero image?

Optimal specs are 980x375 pixels and no larger than 200 KB. The L.A. Office is happy to help you update your art to these specs.

I do not have approved art for my property, what should I include instead?

We recommend something generic, such as a company logo.

I do not know the exact release date of my property, should I still add it or wait until I have all of the details?

Most marketers need some understanding of your properties timing so do the best you can. If you can include the year and quarter, that's a good start. Once you enter a month and day, your property will show up on the site calendar. For ongoing or evergreen properties, our property editor also has options for TBD (timing unknown), Current (available now for partnerships), Evergreen (always popular) and Annual (for recurring events).

Can I add more than 6 images to my property page?

At this time, only six images are able to be added to properties.

I do not know how to modify images to meet the specs, can The L.A. Office help?

Of course! We recommend reaching out to your company's creative team first, but feel free to email our team at VIPResources@MarketingPartnerships.com for questions and concerns.

If I have images that do not meet the specs, can I upload anyway?

Sure! But be warned, images that do not meet our specs may appear distorted. If you need assistance sizing images, feel free to contact a member of The L.A. Office at Artwork@MarketingPartnerships.com.

Can I add downloadable materials to my property?

Attaching downloadable materials is not available at this time.

I have partnership opportunities that are not entertainment properties, are they appropriate to add to MarketingPartnerships.com?

Yes! MarketingPartnerships.com welcomes all types of partnership opportunities. While some of the fields may not seem appropraite for your opportunity, we welcome all opportunities and hope that you will reach out to us to help you customize the user experience.

How do I add video to my property?

Click on the "Media" tab on the Property page. Choose "Add Video", select the video you wish to attach and an optional thumbnail image and click submit. Remember, videos can be no larger than 15MB.

I have added a property, but waiting for approval, can I save it as a private draft?

To remove a property from your company page, click the "Edit" button on the property page. At the bottom click "Archive". To make your property appear back to the public, find "Archived Properties" on the left side of your control panel, click on the property you wish you make public, scroll to the bottom and click "Activate".

Can I block competitors from seeing my properties?

MarketingPartnerships.com is an open marketplace for all properties. If you have specific properties or content that you need to keep confidential, please contact us and we will help determine the most effective way to do so. Email us at Support@MarketingPartnerships.com or call 310 275-2088.

How are properties attached to companies?

Selecting a company from the "Distributor" or "Company" list will automatically attached that property to its corresponding company page.

I just pasted text into my property and the formatting is off, how can I fix this?

Edits should only be entered using plain text. Importing HTML copy from cutting and pasting may effect the layout.

Is there anything I can do to format my text?

Each text box has a tool box that allows you to add enhancements to your copy. You can use bullets, underline, bold, etc.

I have properties I would like to promote on MarketingPartnerships.com, how can I add to the database?

If you are a Corporate VIP Member, go to the dropdown menu on the top right of your screen and select "My Properties". From there, you can click on the create a new property button. You can then enter all of the required information and hit "Submit". If you are NOT a Corporate VIP Member, email us at CorporateMembership@marketingpartnerships.com and we will fill you in on how you can get started.

What else can I do to make my properties stand out?

Upload several vibrant eye-catching pieces of art as well as videos.

How do I gain additional exposure for my properties on MarketingPartnerships.com?

I have found prospective partners on MarketingPartnerships.com, how can I alert them to my properties?

PEOPLE

How can I update my profile information?

Click the profile picture on the top right side of the screen to reach the user profile page. From there, click "Edit" to change your information. Make sure to hit "Submit" on the bottom of the page to save.

What are the optimal specs for my headshot?

A square image is always best. If you do not have a square image available, a 205 wide x 135 high image will work fine. For best results, make sure that your headshot is a minumum of 75 DPI and is a JPG or TIF. Be sure to save the image for the web to ensure it is no larger than 200KB.

If I don't have, or don't want to include a headshot, what image should I use?

Any image that is not a corporate logo will be allowed for use. If you choose not to upload a headshot a generic one will generate automatically.

What does it mean to "archive" my profile?

Archiving your profile would render it inactive, hiding it from searches and connections.

How will my email be used?

Your email is used for our internal support and communication purposes. We will never give your email out to any other MarketingPartnerships.com users or third parties without your permission.

Will my mobile phone number be public if I include it in my profile?

Mobile phone numbers will only appear for site adminstrators.

• Messaging contacts and property owners is on there, but it says click “contact” rather than message in the answer.

On the contact/property owner’s profile, click on the “message” link indicated by the envelope icon. Type your message and click on the send button.

How can I refine my search results to find people appropriate for my initiatives?

Use the filter list on the left side of the page to refine your search parameters by business type, category and location.

I have found a selection of people that I would like to contact, can I print my results?

Only individual user profiles can be printed. Select the "Print" icon underneath the user photo.

What does it mean to "Connect" with a contact?

Connecting with contacts is basically the same a connecting on any other social network. Once connected, you will be able to message this member and it's a great way to track members that you want to work with on future programs. You will be able to see all of your added contacts from the settings tab/control panel.

What does it mean to follow a member?

"Following" is a great way to identify members that you want to connect with in the future. You will be able to see everyone you are folllowing from the settings tab/control panel.

I am a VIP member, how do I direct message other members?

Click "Contact" underneath the headshot on a users individual page.

I have found people that I would like to reach out to, what is the most appropriate way to contact them?

How do I request featured members to view?

Our featured members are selected from our Corporate Membership program and rotate each week.

I have requested to connect with a member of MarketingPartnerships.com, how do I know when my request has been accepted?

Look in the Connections section of the control panel to see which pending Connections have been accepted.

How will I know when I receive a direct message?

Unread messages in your inbox will be denoted by the red number in the upper left corner of the page.

COMPANIES

My company does not have a profile, how can I create a Company Profile page?

How do I add my team to my company profile?

While your Corporate Admin has the ability to do this, please send us the names of your team members and we will make sure they have the proper credentials. Send your request to CorporateMembership@MarktetingPartnerships.com.

How many team members can I add to my company profile?

Up to 10 team members may be attached to your company.

I did not find a contact at the company I am looking for, can The L.A. Office help me with my search?

If you are a VIP Member, please contact your Membership Representative and we will do our best to assist you.

I am looking for an agency, can The L.A. Office make a recommendation?

There are a number of terrific marketing agencies on MarketingPartnerships.com. You should be able to search based on the type of work you need performed, location or a number of other variables. You can also see the work they have been involved in by clicking on the PARTNERSHIPS tab for each company.

How do I request featured companies to view?

Our featured companies are selected from our VIP Corporate Membership program, if you are a VIP Corporate Member, please contact your Membership Team and we will do our best to accommodate.

What is the criteria for "similar" companies?

"Similar" companies are searched for based on company type and category.

How do I change my hero image?

Find your company page either by clicking on “My Company” on the right side of your profile, or by clicking directly on the company name under your user profile picture. From there, make sure that all of the company information is correct and upload a new hero image (the large top image) if you do not like the one selected. Hero image specs are: 980pixels X 375pixels and saved for web.

How do I remove individuals that are no longer with my company?

Please contact your Membership Representative to remove users from a company page.

Where should I add my agency to my company page?

Information such as agency details should be included in the "Additional Comments" section.

PARTNERSHIPS

How do I add a partnership?

There are several ways to add partnerships. 1.) After clicking on the "Partnerships" tab, click "Add A Partnership" in the top left corner. 2.) On an individual property page, click the "Partnerships" tab and select "Create A New Partnership"

What is a hero image?

The hero image is the picture that you would like to represent your property, partnership or company. It should be 980X375 pixels and no larger than 200 KB. The hero image on a partnership page generally represents the entertainment entity in the partnership.

What do you mean by promotional elements?

Promotional elements include the specific marketing assets that contribute to the partnership (e.g. on-pack creative, sweepstakes, etc.).

What do you mean by media elements?

Media elements include the various forms of communication that are engaged to promote the marketing partnership (e.g. television spots, banner ads, etc.).

How do I add new images to my partnership?

You can add images to your partnerships by entering the Partnership Edit screen and scrolling to the bottom where you can select any image you have on file.

How many images can I add to partnerships

Up to six images can be added to a partnership.

Is it standard practice to get your partner's approval before posting a partnership?

If a promotion has been announced/made public, it is generally considered OK to post. If you are unsure, by all means ask!

The partnerships featured don't pertain to my business, how do I request partnerships to view?

Try searching by the various filters on the left-hand side as well as key words in the search bar.

I did not find the partnership I am looking for, can The L.A. Office assist me in my search?

How do I add myself to partnerships that I worked on?

While on a partnership page, select "I Worked On This Program" to add yourself.

How many partnerships can I add myself to?

While there is no limit to how many partnerships you can add yourself to, make sure that you are not attaching yourself to partnerships you were not involved in. Should various property owners request to have you removed from more than 3 partnerships, your membership may be revolked.

How do I remove active partnerships from my partnerships that I was not involved in?

Select the "People" tab on the Individual Partnership page and select "Remove Myself" underneath your name.

How can I request which RoadShow On-Demand reviews are featured?

The featured RoadShow On-Demand presentations are the two most recent.

How do I become the featured property review on the top slider?

What is the difference between the RoadShow Webinar Series and RoadShow On-Demand?

RoadShow On-Demand Property Reviews have taken the place of the RoadShow Webinar Series. The move to recorded, on-demand presentations will make the viewing experience easier and more convenient for both the presenters and attendees.

As a Corporate Member, how many RoadShow On-Demand Videos can I host?

Corporate Members have the ability to present two RoadShow On-Demand Property Reviews per annual membership cycle.

CALENDAR

How can I add an event to the Calendar?

Calendar items are automatically added based on the date provided for the opportunity. If you have listed an opportunity that has a specific date, you will find that opportunity listed on the calendar.

SCREENING ROOM

How do I access the screening room?

Click "Screening Room" at the top of the page.

What is the optimal player for viewing?

MarketingPartnerships.com has built in a universal media player. Click play and enjoy!

How can I add a commercial spot to the database?

TV Spots must be attached to partnerships in the database. To add a TV spot, create a partnership to coincide with it.

How can I find all of the commercial spots for a specific title or brand?

Use the search bar at the top of the Screening Room page to find what you are looking for.

Can I attach my profile to commercial spots that I worked on?

Users can attach themselves to partnerships, which includes a place for promotional TV spots.

If I can't find the particular spot I'm looking for, can The L.A. Office assist me in my search?

Can I get a copy of a TV spot?

Unfortunately, we do not provide copies of TV spots however, you are welcome to view them as many times as you like in our database.

What are the specs for uploading TV spots?

Videos should be no larger than 15 MB.

How does Promotional TV Spots differ from Screening Room?

Promotional TV Spots are what populate the Screening Room.
